This year's camp
will be under the direction of Head Coach Rich Rider. Beginning
his 15th season at California Lutheran University, Coach Rider
has over twenty years of summer camp experience. Bring a positive
attitude, a desire to learn and watch your game improve. |
|
Coach Rider is very
enthusiastic about the upcoming summer camps, as this will give
him an opportunity to meet the boys and girls of the community
that support KINGSMEN BASKETBALL. |
|
Coach Rider is known
for his ability to teach sound fundamentals of the game. He is
looking forward to the hands-on instruction throughout the camps. |
|
The basketball camp staff
will consist of the assistant coaches that are a part
of CLU. Many of the CLU players will
be on hand working with the campers. This provides an excellent
opportunity to come meet the players and coaches. |

Camp Instructions
Include:
The Lu Dog Basketball
camps includes a large amount of individual instruction. The
emphasis of these camps is to improve on the fundamentals of
the game of basketball. From ball-handling, to passing, to shooting,
to defensive stance, many of the basic skills are covered in
the week of instruction.
The camp also
includes competition, both individually and in team situations.
The camp is designed to give each camper the skills necessary
to get one step closer to becoming the complete basketball player
in an enjoyable format.

Supervision
is available from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. You may sign up for this on the
1st day of camp.
